Like everybody else, when we were researching competitors for our new website, we listed lots of potential keywords, buzz words, and what-have-you words that folks use to try describe their services.
"Managed *Insert Buzz Word Here* Service(s)".. Managed IT Services, Managed Security Services, Managed Support Services, Managed Services Service..
It's all we came across!
Even as a technologist, working in a company full of technologists, I struggle to give a simple answer on what it really means, so I asked Gartner - a techy research firm..
Gartner
"A managed service provider (MSP) delivers services, such as network, application, infrastructure and security, via ongoing and regular support and active administration on customers’ premises, in their MSP’s data center (hosting), or in a third-party data center."
Our approach at Leacam is slightly different. Instead of using words that we don't even fully understand, we're going to keep it simple (stupid!).
Why not simply talk to us about IT things, and what help you need with those IT things?
